Botley West solar farm

We are aware the brochure recently posted through residents' doors letting them know about the Botley West Solar Farm plan, an extensive development across land mainly to the immediate east of Salt Cross and Long Hanborough, and north east of Woodstock.

Please note there are public consultations running on this proposal throughout November and early December. The nearest ones to Freeland are:

• Woodstock Community Centre on Saturday 19 November, 11am-4pm
• Hanborough Pavilion and Village Hall on Wednesday 23 November, 12.30-4.30pm
• Cassington Village Hall on Friday 25 November, 1-5pm

There is also a webinar on Monday 5 December from 5.30 to 7pm. Links to access this webinar as well as more details about the proposal can be found at www.botleywest.co.uk. While Freeland is not as immediately affected by this as other parishes, we are in communication with our neighbours and will keep you informed.
